Walking in the forest canopy. by Susie Baber | 4 March 2022. The Tahune Airwalk is one of Southern Tasmania's most popular tourist attractions. Situated deep in Tasmania's wilderness alongside the Huon River, the Tahune Forest area is accessed via Arve Road from Geeveston in the Huon Valley.

Air Walk tickets can be purchased online or at the Tahune Adventures visitor centre. Ticket is a day pass and includes access to all walks on site. Swinging Bridges. The Tahune Airwalk is the most famous attraction in the Tahune Forest Reserve, Tasmania. This forest walkway is elevated 30 metres above ground, although the real highlight comes at the end. The final section of the Tahune Airwalk is cantilevered over the Huon River, 50 metres above the water.
